Biography
Paul Lewis is Full Professor of Urban Planning and Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Design (which brings together 4 main disciplines: architecture, landscape architecture, design, urban planning) at Université de Montréal. Previously, he worked as an urban planner for the cities of Hull and Gatineau and as a researcher for the Council of Universities and the Department of Municipal Affairs.
His research focuses on retail, real estate and urban development and transportation (planning, active and collective transportation in particular). He is regularly invited in the media to discuss transport and urban planning.
