Fouziya BOUZERDA

Fouziya Bouzerda is the Managing Director of Grenoble Ecole de Management, which holds triple international accreditation and is the first French business school to become an impact-driven organization. She is leading a new development strategy for the School, including a major campus project in Paris and international openings onto new markets in Asia and the Middle East. She has committed the School to a strategy of skills hybridization. She is also the driving force of innovation stakeholders in Grenoble, France’s 2nd largest research and development cluster.

Fouziya Bouzerda is an expert in managing strategy and implementation of wide and long-term public policies. For 6 years, she has been in charge of economic development for the Metropole of Lyon, France’s first metropole in terms of private investments and the second economic hub. Directly managing more than 620 million euros of investment, she has built and deployed several highly-crucial strategies to the region.  

Accustomed to managing complex and high-stakes organizations, she is an expert in steering large-scale structures, carrying out strategic transformations and change management. She was President of the Sytral, serving 1.8 million inhabitants with a budget of 1.4 billion euros. She initiated and carried out for 4 years the major projects that would shape the Syndicat’s future.

As a lawyer for 25 years, Fouziya Bouzerda became a founding partner of SELARL BOUZERDA, specializing in mobility law, business law, public law and real estate law.  She built a solid experience in managing key account clients.

She has a long-standing commitment to promoting the role of women in the economy, and has become an expert in both the analysis of obstacles to access to management positions and business start-ups, and in the deployment of measures to address them. She was President of the association Femmes au cœur de l’économie, founder of a association about legal and institutional discrimination and of the Think Tank Rhône Alpes Diversité. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF).
