Dr. Yu-Liang Chung is an International Affairs Officer (Europe). He focuses on international collaborations with partners in Europe. He received his B.S. from National Taiwan University, MS, and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1987, 1991, and 1993.
During 2019-2021, Dr. Chung held a position as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC), a subsidiary of ITRI. He has also fostered an innovation company, which provides communication modules for semiconductor equipment and facility. In addition, Dr. Chung was an independent director in the Board of Directors of ASIX, a leading I.C. design company from MediaTek family, for industrial/embedded networking and connectivity solutions. He obtained outstanding awards from the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers (CSME, 2010) and the National Invention and Creation Award (MOEA, Taiwan, 2010). A permanent member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of R.O.C., he also acquired various awards, such as RD-100 awards, Paragon of TQM award, outstanding industrial contributions award, and best invention award.
