Edward Woods is a recognised leader in the construction industry, currently serving as Head of R&D Innovation and Venture Capital at Bouygues Construction. With over thirty years of international experience, he has led complex, high-impact projects that integrate innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. His career spans general contracting, real estate development, and consulting engineering, where he has managed multidisciplinary teams on major developments including high-rise buildings, multi-family housing, data centres, and positive energy districts. A specialist in project and risk management and process modernisation, he promotes participative innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies. Edward also holds key industry roles: Chairman of the ECTP, Chair of the FIEC Technical Commission for R&D and Innovation, Board Member of FEREC and IFPEB, and Co-founder and Honorary Member of the French Chapter of the CTBUH.
