The HLF Summit 2026 began with a series of learning expeditions that allowed participants to explore Grenoble’s innovation ecosystem in actionDifferent groups visited research infrastructures, startups, showcases, and even facilities on the GIANT campus, where collaboration between science, technology and industry creates lasting impact.

The first day concluded with a warm and memorable evening in the mountains. Over 80 guests gathered at the Pipay resort to share a traditional raclette dinner while discovering new innovation ecosystems. This informal moment created space for exchange in a setting that reflected both the region’s identity and the summit’s collaborative spirit.
This was made possible by the incredible help and work of Jean Francois CLAPPAZ, Le Grésivaudan – Communauté de communes . With welcoming words from Julie Galland, all the delegations were introduced to the HLF community before enjoying a scenic view and traditional French diner!
