Karine Samuel is currently a Professor of Management at the Grenoble Institute of Technology and Management (Grenoble INP-UGA) and Vice-President for International Affairs of the Université Grenoble Alpes. She conducts her research at the Center for Applied Management Studies and Research (CERAG) and has published numerous scientific articles and books or book chapters in the field of strategic business management and supply chain management. She is also President of the International Association for Research in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (AIRL-SCM), and a member of the Board of Directors of France Supply Chain. Her area of expertise relates to supply risks and the resilience of organizations, with a specific focus on risks linked to the lack of visibility in supply chains.
