Graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique, and the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées, Emmanuel Rouede has worked within state administrations and local authorities : Strasbourg and Grenoble Metropolitan regions, Départments Nord and Bas-Rhin, where he has managed multidisciplinary directorates all involved in spatial management and city development.
He is currently of Chief Executive Officer of the City of Grenoble.
He has been involved in the implementation of urban strategies and projects in Strasbourg and Grenoble,
which are both strongly committed to innovation as applied to the city in transition, and to sustainable mobility policies.
In addition, he has provided his support in the reorganisation processes that have been experienced both by local authorities and state departments, with decentralisation and metropolitanasition.
