58-year-old Arts et Métiers engineer, Raphaël Zaccardi had a career of nearly 35 years within the Caterpillar group, on the Grenoble site as well as on various other entities in Europe and the United States. His varied background has allowed him to occupy positions that are technical, strategic and global. Prior to taking over the management of Caterpillar France, he was responsible for the Mannheim site in Germany, in the power generation sector.
He was appointed General Manager of Caterpillar France on September 1, 2018, following the departure of Laurent Rannaz who decided to put his skills and experience at the service of higher education.
For nearly 3 years, Raphael promoted teams experimentation, innovation, collective intelligence, sustainability … in a spirit of “winning together”.
