Ryosuke Ohniwa

Dr. Ryosuke Ohniwa is Head of Campus-in-Campus and Platform group of the Bureau of Global Initiatives at the University of Tsukuba, and associate professor of its Faculty of Medicine. He also acts as the project leader of JV-Campus, a project to establish an all-Japan international online education platform. He earned his B.S. degree from Faculty of Integrated Study at Kyoto University, and his Master and Ph.D. from its Graduate School of Biostudies. He is currently PI for the laboratory of Integrated Study on Health Information, and is researching solutions to various health-related issues by creating prototype concepts and/or products with trans-disciplinary approaches.
