HLF SUMMIT 2026: DAY 3

The HLF at tech&fest !
A full day immersed in innovation, kicked off with an inspiring contribution from Julie Galland, honorary president of this edition and President of Giant, who naturally connected the ambitions of the HLF with the energy of tech&fest.💡

🚀 The Startup Session, led by Laurence Petit, Philippe Rase and Nicola Redi, offered a sharp, finance-focused perspective on early-stage entrepreneurship, unpacking funding paths, investment choices, and the financial realities young companies face as they scale, illustrated through concrete examples across sectors and territories.

🤝 The day then unfolded with an intense program of visits — from the Decarbonization Village and Grésivaudan startups to Schneider Electric, Le Village by CA Sud Rhône Alpes, the CEA, and the Hewlett Packard Enterprise data center — giving delegates a behind-the-scenes look at the infrastructures and ecosystems that power innovation. The morning concluded with a powerful image: 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐋𝐅 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡&𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.

🎤 This momentum continued with 𝐌𝐲 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝟖𝟎’, an interactive and fast-paced session bringing together around fifteen ecosystems, animated by Emma Richet, PhD and Nora Intaranont, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and long-term vision of place-based innovation models.

The immersion carried on with  𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚, 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐋𝐅 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

• A 𝐜𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭-𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, chaired by Karine Bannelier, Director of the Grenoble Alpes Cybersecurity Institute.
• And to wrap up the day, a roundtable discussion on “𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞”, moderated by Dana L. Brown, Ph.D., featuring an international panel of speakers. An inspiring exchange highlighting how cross-sector collaboration is key to building resilient ecosystems, aligning local ambitions with global challenges, and creating impactful partnerships.

A fitting end to a day that offered international delegations a fresh, vibrant, and hands-on experience of innovation at tech&fest.
