Benoît Hilbert is graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris and Stanford University. After a first experience in the European Laboratory for Particles Physics, he joined Air Liquide in 1998.
After a few positions in the Air Liquide Advanced Technologies perimeter in Sassenage, France, he moved to China with his family in 2006, where he joined the Air Liquide Engineering and Construction (E&C) organization in Hangzhou.
Career in France
Back in France, he was in charge of the E&C Group re-organization project before being appointed CEO of E&C France.
He then held a position at the Head Office in the financial field before being appointed CEO of Air Liquide advanced Technologies in 2017.
Air Liquide advanced Technologies’ activities and its nearly 900 employees are based in France (at Sassenage, near Grenoble and at Les Mureaux, near Paris) as well as in China, Japan, Germany and US.
