With a degree in engineering and a PhD in Microelectronics, Bruno Charrat has held various management positions in international corporations before joining the CEA (French Atomic and Alternative Energy Commission) in 2012. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to the fields of technological research and cybersecurity.
Since 2019, Bruno coordinated the work of over 200 CEA engineers and scientists in cybersecurity. He has represented the CEA in numerous national and international strategic initiatives, including the Research Program (PEPR) of Cybersecurity Acceleration Strategy, the Technology & Innovation Task Force of the Security Industries Strategic Committee, and the Campus Cyber network. He is also a board member of the Alliance pour la Confiance Numérique (ACN). In November 2024, Bruno was appointed Director for Development of Alliances in Research & Innovation at the CEA’s Technological Research Division.
