Emilie Viasnoff graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure (Lyon, France), as a physicist specialized in optics and photonics.
She hold a PhD from University of PARIS Sud, France on optical properties of photonic crystals.
From 2005 to 2009, she worked at Saint-Gobain Recherche as a R&D project leader on thin film coatings processes.
In 2009, she moved to CEA-LETI where she spent 10 years with various positions as manager of R&D teams in the fields of
displays technologies, optics and photonics, microelectronics and microsystems.
Since 2019, she is Director of Strategic Programs of CEA-DRT.
CEA-DRT is the CEA’s technology research unit which gathers more than 4500 researchers in three labs—Leti, Liten, and List— and within Technology Transfer Platforms deployed in the French Regions.
CEA-DRT develops a broad portfolio of technologies for ICTs, energy, and healthcare.
Emilie Viasnoff published over 15 publications, papers, books and articles and hold 8 patents.
