Dr. Frank Dudda (57) is the Lord Mayor of Herne since 2015. He studied law at the Ruhr University in Bochum and received his doctorate in 1996. Frank Dudda is married and has one son.
In December 2020, Dudda was elected as the new chairman of the first directly elected Ruhr parliament, the Association Assembly in the Regional Association Ruhr (RVR).
