Jacques joined ST in 2023 as Director of the center of expertise in security for the microcontroller group. He previously served as a Director of Research at CEA, where he successfully led the cybersecurity program, shaping different research programs and industrial partnerships, focusing on hardware and embedded software security. He also served as a deputy director of the Grenoble Alpes Cybersecurity Institute. Prior to this, Jacques held several technical positions in the security labs of Gemalto, a leading smart card manufacturer, for over eight years. Jacques Fournier holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s degree from Georgia Tech (USA), and an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec (France). He is also an auditor of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN).
