Maria FAURY is Director of the partnership strategy at the Technological Research division of CEA (French Atomic and Alternative Energy Commission), since April 2024. Previously, she was director of large research infrastructures and International Affairs in the Fundamental Research Division. She was French delegate in various boards of directors such as ESRF (European synchrotron), ILL (European neutron scattering research reactor), F4E (Fusion for Energy). From 2018 to 2022, she was Chairperson of the European XFEL Council at Hambourg, and from 2020 to 2023, Chairperson of the Administrative and Management Committee of Fusion for Energy.
Maria Faury is colonel of the French Civil Reserve Air Force since 2014.
