Selma Maric

Selma pioneered methods for structure and dynamics studies of native and artificial lipid nanoparticles involved in disease using a combination of X-ray and neutron scattering. Experience from industry, academia, large scale research infrastructure, the Swedish and European funding ecosystem and as founder of several national and international research networks, educational programmes and innovative start-ups. Project leader for the development a new flagship beamline for biological and medicinal research and corresponding user community at MAX IV. Currently leading the implementation phase for the establishment of “Swedish Platforms for Advanced Infrastructure for Research, Innovation and Technology (SPIRIT)”, a national technical park function surrounding MAX IV and ESS.
