After an engineering degree and seven years as an officer in the mountain forces in Grenoble, Olivier Six took over a small metalworking company. Through innovation, confidence and an industrial start-up spirit, this company quickly grew from 5 to 150 people and became a major player in its sector. Then Olivier Six took over and developed Guidetti, a company specialised in the design and manufacture of sports equipment. This company is now the French leader in walking and trail poles and its products can be found in almost every sport shop in the country.
Olivier is also strongly involved in the economic and political world of the Greater Grenoble area, as President of the economic commission of Grenoble Alpes Metropole and President of the industry commission of its Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
