Patricia J. Moser is the Director of the Procurement Group at the headquarters of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Copenhagen. Ms. Moser joined UNOPS in January 2015, with more than 30 years of experience in leading and consulting for organizations in Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Operations and Sustainability.
In her tenure at UNOPS, she has transformed the function to be fit for purpose in today’s environment — from introducing leading edge technology, developing extensive training protocols including e-learning, revising policies, introducing deep dive analytics to enable continuous improvement, creating a supply chain risk framework, and becoming a global leader in three-pillared sustainability – environmental, social and economic – and others. In 2018/2019 she was Chair (and for 2019/2020 Advisory Chair) of the UN High Level Committee of Management Procurement Network which drives innovation and enhancement of procurement across over 40 UN Agencies.
Prior to joining UNOPS Ms. Moser had a record of accomplishment in both her senior executive roles and as a consultant. She has worked in a diverse number of industries, including banking, telecommunications, technology, retail, public sector, not-for-profit, vaccine manufacturing, consumer-packaged goods, and healthcare.
Ms. Moser was recently nominated as one of the top Procurement professionals globally by Procurement Leaders and was recognized multiple times as one of the premier strategists and thought leaders in this area by Procurement & Supply Chain, by Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine. She has been widely profiled, quoted and/or written for numerous global publications. She has presented internationally on leading edge approaches to business issues, including supply chain, sustainability, gender, technology and has participated in multiple executive roundtable events.
Ms. Moser has a passion for innovative approaches and is constantly challenging the status quo. She created and developed the UNOPS Possibilities programme, focused on innovation by MSMEs and particularly women/youth owned enterprises. This programme won the World Procurement Award for Supplier Diversity and Inclusion in London, May 2019.

Ms. Moser holds three degrees, a BSc. in Psychology; a BSc. in Chemistry and a Master’s in Business Administration. She has both Canadian and Austrian citizenship.
