Robert Thomas works in the commercialization division of CEA where he assists CEA’s Institute and Lab directors in technology and strategic planning and the commercialization of CEA research.
Prior to joining CEA, Robert worked for SRI International (the former Stanford Research Institute) working primarily with large, multinational companies on strategic marketing and technology planning assignments.
He began his career in manufacturing process control working in the fiber optics business of the General Electric Company.
Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Oxford and a Master’s degree and PhD from Imperial College, London.
